This is little Boy. He was born prematurally on Nov. 11. His delivery was a bit agressive, as the Dr's felt the need to "get him out right away." Little did anyone know that baby had a rare blood disorder and the delivery caused bleeding on the brain. It took 2 days until his dad noticed bruising on baby's arm. Tests were done and the blood disorder and bleeding on the brain were found. By then, it was too late. The damage was done and baby was brain dead. The family prayed and prayed for a miracle. After realizing that there was nothing anyone could do, the family decided to "pull the plug" on their little baby. Friends and family were there to support the parents. I cared for Ava and Brooke that day so their mom could be with her dear friend. Baby lived longer than anticipated, with no intervention, no food, no support. On day 15 after being left to fend on his own, baby died. I know this is a sad sad story, but that is the reason why I am sharing it. The family will be going through a VERY tough time right now, and need prayer. I don't even know them, but I have been praying for them for 3 weeks. They are friends of one of my daycare mom's.
