Well, I forgot to take a "before" picture, but this is the closet after I took what was in there out. My goal was to make a space for 6 kids to hang their jackets, cubbies that won't droop and sag, and a spot for boots, and adult jackets. Pretty tough, considering this space is only 41 inches across. I also needed to add a battery operated light, as this closet is pretty dark.
The project went ok, I guess. I give myself a 70%. This was not a prefab, I did all the cuts, measurements, etc myself. *** sorry, let me rephrase...Dwayne helped with a few of the cuts but only because I couldn't do it on my own. The pieces of wood were 96 inches long! *** I am working my way up to bigger and better projects. I definately needed this as my first step~! At least I can close the closet doors and hide all my mistakes!
I still need to fix a couple things, but scroll on down to see the finished project!
Lesson learned....NEVER EVER EVER buy crappy particle board again.
It was tough for me to get a good pic of the whole thing, but you get the jist of it!
