Mr. Faria

Am I allowed to do this?  Write all about my husband?  Sure!!  Why not!  I'm sure I could go the rest of my life without ever really saying anything about him and people would still manage to understand how much I love him!
When we first met we made a deal....no relationship, no phone calls, no "dates" etc.  Neither one of us wanted it.  Well!  We went on our first date the night after, called every single night of the week and spent every weekend together.  haha.  So much for not phoning!   I couldn't stay away from him and well...he wasn't saying no!  Prior to meeting my "Babe", I had made a list of things I was to look for in a man, if and when I ever did!  Meeting Dwayne at a bar, having a few drinks made me a bit nervous, cuz the #1 thing on my list of a perfect man was that he not be a drinker! LOL.  But, once I spent more time with him and realized that he really doesn't drink, I was happy :)  Dwayne's good heart, thoughtfulness, dedication to family, honesty and love did  not take long to shine through and I found it impossible to not fall in love with him.  I remember when we had only been seeing each other for a couple weeks, and I told him a story about a good friend of mine, telling me that I needed to be someone's Princess.  His answer was "You can be  my Princess".  That was 6 years ago and he is still treating me like a Princess!!  I think that is one of the things I love the most about him.  Well, there is so much I can't really tell which one is my favorite, but....I love that he is consistent.  He is exactly the same now as he was 6 years ago. What I mean is, most men will put on a charming face, manners, courtesy etc for the first little while, only to "get the girl".  Once he's got her, the charade stops and he turns into a jerk.  Well, Dwayne is still courteous, kind, loving, thoughtful, sweet I could go on and on and on!!

I love that my husband is my best friend.  I love that I can trust him.  I love that he is the bearer of all my secrets and never holds any of them against me.  I love that no matter what, he is always good to me - making sure I am happy.  I love his sense of humor (and at times, it's really dumb!! ahah), I love that he always challenges himself with stupid little tests ("Hey babe...do you think if I jumped high enough, I could hit this chord hanging from the garage ceiling with my head?").  I love that he'll stand on one leg and stare at me, then ask if he looks like an ostrich.  He makes me smile every single day, he frees my spirit, he is the man of my dreams and he is my husband!!  I love you Babe. xoxoxoox
